Petit Prairies (small works)
Though the skies are big and the endless fields vast, Jodi believes playfulness is an important component of creativity. She uses her small works to experiment with palettes, textures and views.
Jodi’s small works are created on wood panels and smaller canvases using acrylic paints dashed on with brushes and textured with palette knives and thick paint. Edges are finished in gold allowing these small paintings to stand on their own as little pieces of stories remembered.
