“What is it about the way the light bounces off the water as we zip along wind flying our hair into our eyes, squinting in the sunlight? It’s like trying to bottle up all of the perfect blues that become our summer memories, swimming, paddling, attempted water skiing and all the raucous laughter that accompanies the silliness.
It is our family time, our quiet time, our holiday time and the essence of summer. It is our freedom and our stories, shared over ice cream. It is the daydream that we hold in our hearts year round.”
